John Matthew Boutchia III became senior pastor of Calvary Baptist in April of 2016. His passion in the ministry is evangelism, discipleship and preaching. He exercises a true love for the Lord and others as evidenced by his devotion to local and world-wide missions. His life verse is Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
Sean Lunday
BIMI South American Field Director
In addition to serving as BIMI's South American Director, the Lunday's also act as Brazil Director, where they are responsible for serving some 45 BIMI missionaries to Brazil. In 2007 the Amazon For Christ ministry was establish to help our national church planters establish churches in the Amazon basin. This ministry uses primarily medical missions as a means to open doors in areas otherwise inaccessible to the gospel. Mark Mariner
church-planting missionary to Suriname, South America
Called to Suriname, South America, the Mariner's are currently interning with a veteran missionary couple in Guyana--a nearby country with very similar culture and religious practice. By next year, they plan to be actively ministering in Suriname and planting their first church. Sarah was privileged to serve with the Mariner's during the last Amazon-Connect trip to Guyana where they saw first-hand how the Lord can use the tool of medicine to plant a new church.
